The role does not involve in-depth diagnostics or complex mechanical work; assistance and guided learning are provided as needed. Education High school diploma or GED required. Experience Minimum 2 years of automotive technician experience. Responsibilities Diagnose issues based on experience, analysis, and testing. Perform routine service inspections or tests and complete standard maintenance jobs. Repair automobiles and light trucks as assigned. Maintain cleanliness of vehicles during service or repairs. Ensure that required documentation is complete and complies with regulations and standards. Help maintain shop appearance and safety standards. Ensure the shop runs efficiently by performing duties such as inventory stocking and other general functions as needed. Follow all shop policy, procedure, safety, and environmental rules. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Minimum 2 years of automotive technician experience. Verifiable technical performance record. High school diploma or GED. Demonstrated ability to work well with others and be a team player. Results‑oriented self‑starter. Unrestricted driver’s license and clean driving record.
